My beautiful mother, Elizabeth Hedge. She was a professional seamstress, raised 3 kids much of the time alone because our Navy dad was out to sea alot. She began messing with painting herself and got quite good.  I am not sure if I have one of her pieces. She would be happy to see how far I have come with my own art.
