I used to go to live model drawing sessions. This was quite a challenge in the beginning because I believed I could not draw faces or figures.  I was wrong. Sometimes these figures make their way into finished paintings. I also draw in a sketchbook while watching TV. When I went to my first session I did not know the model would be nude.  When I came back home I said to my other half, "I just spent two hours with a naked man and I didn't even know his name." My other half replied "Cool." and went back to watching TV. The drawings that appear to be in a book were usually done while watching TV using only a drawing pencil in black and one in white. Any item in a magazine or in the room was subject to sketching.
